Over the years, I have delved into so many styles of music. Where I have earned a reputation for delivering high-energy sets with harder hitting kicks, the melodic harmony of music really does capture something in me. My love affair with this style started after a trip to Ibiza in my teens, surrounded by a sea of people in the middle of the biggest club in the world, a track was dropped that seriously did something to me and leaving me a bit stunned and overwhelmed. It was then I realised that where we all have that “favourite” genre to mix with, music in general was something that simply became part of me, nothing on this planet has more of an effect on me like music does.  Determined to find this song, I spent 2 years tirelessly searching for the vinyl, eventually finding it second hand overseas fetching a tasty $100. It’s one of my most treasured records. When mixing this style at home, I often lose myself, getting so caught up in the emotive journey of the song that I occasionally forget I’m meant to be mixing the next track in – which is a testament to my deep connection with this sound.  My career in this style is progressing, being in an environment that not just allows me, but urges me to play more melodic vibes in public and not just in my home is such an exciting prospect for me, one that I cannot wait to progress!
